On March 28, TC-USA PAC, TC-NE PAC and TC-Midwest PAC were sponsors of a dinner in Washington, DC, honoring Congressman Don Beyer’s (D-VA/8th). Representatives from the Turkish American community in Virginia who attended the dinner highlighted the importance of continuing dialogue between Turkey and the United States and maintaining the alliance. As a token of appreciation for Congressman Beyer’s friendship with the Turkish American community over the years, Hande Akmehmet Uzun of Virginia presented him a box of Turkish delights.
